Project Overview
Kingdom Event Management is an event planning company that specializes in weddings, birthdays, and baby showers. They offer a variety of package options that make it easy to plan events for their clients.
My goal was to help Kingdom Event Management establish an online presence for their growing business. Most of their business was conducted through social media and third party sites. They wanted a site that let them show off the successful events that they had planned and also make it easier for clients to contact them to plan their event.

The best websites are those that are easy to navigate and are not overwhelming. The new site for Kingdom Event Management is made up of five pages with brief text explanations and photos.
How to Sell A Service
Since Kingdom Event Management is selling a service, I focused on showing both their planning process and the results of their work so that potential clients would have a sense of the experience they were buying.

Audiences are more likely to engage with reputable companies with a proven track record. I added reviews, awards, and imagery to increase the credibility of their business.

Throughout the website there are elements that connect to the fantasy theme that their name evokes. Icons and headings are subtle nods to their business name and capture the message behind their brand.
Image Variety
Kingdom Event Management has a wide range of images from past events. I incorporated these images throughout the site to demonstrate the variety of their services and encourage customers to work with them.
Creating a Mood
The business name Kingdom Event Management makes readers think of castles and fantasy. I wanted to carry this idea throughout their website so that it ties back to their brand and identity.
Many of the headings and labels throughout the site have titles that are cohesive with the fairytale theme. I wanted to draw in potential clients and make them feel like the website was part of the royal experience.
Each package option has an icon that goes along with the fairytale theme of the website. When users hover over one of the package options the cards will flip to reveal a description of the package.
Establishing Credibility
Kingdom Event Management is a small-but-growing business that is still building a client base. In order to attract new customers, I focused on showing the results of their work, including testimonials and photos, so that new customers would feel more comfortable engaging their services.
Reviews from satisfied customers provide details about their experience and promote trust in the services offered to customers.
Awards that Kingdom Event Management has won for their services show that they are recognized in the industry. This encourages potential customers to work with them because this sets them apart from other companies.
I included an image gallery dedicated to weddings they have planned. Pictures show that they make their clients’ wedding days a dream come true.
I also included an “extras” gallery that shows a variety of custom options that clients have incorporated into their events. These photos demonstrate the detail and level of customization that they put into each event.
Results
I created a simple and elegant website that promotes the services that Kingdom Event Management has to offer by using images that show the results of their work. The site also includes elements that promote their businesslike reviews and awards they have won. Customers are able to get inspiration for their own event and easily get in touch with Kingdom Event Management to plan an event.
